Working at CEO or board-level can be a very lonely experience. It is difficult to publicly acknowledge and work on one’s weaknesses at this level. Confidential Mentoring from somebody who’s “been there and done that” can be enormously powerful in maximising the leadership skills and efficiency of these key individuals.
John Goodwin, our Director of Mentoring has indeed “been there, done that…and has even got the T Shirt”, and so he is the perfect person to handle what would normally be sensitive or tricky issues; for example, confidence issues are something that Senior Directors and CEO’s suffer from, like anybody else, but under normal circumstances, they could not possibly admit to them. Our Director of Mentoring is the perfect person to lend an empathetic ear.
Clarity of thinking is inevitably disturbed by pressure of events and can lead to delayed or poor decision-making; John makes the perfect sounding board. Mind R-evolution take their Mentoring services extremely seriously and understand not only the stressful nature of being at the top, but that a normal Monday to Friday 9.00-5.00 appointment slot will not be at all helpful. John is prepared to be extremely flexible on availability; 1-2-1 Mentoring appointments can therefore be made 24/7.
A series of Mentoring appointments will be made up front and topics will be chosen in advance by the client. The topics should normally be agreed with the Director of Mentoring 24 hours before an appointment for maximum effectiveness; although it is of course recognised that urgent topics may come up a t short notice on occasion.
It goes without saying that our Mentoring Services will be completely confidential; absolutely no content will be divulged by our Director Of Mentoring to anyone; not even to other Mind R-evolution personnel.
